Cathy Resmer is the online editor at Seven Days, Vermont’s alternative weekly newspaper. She started writing for the paper in 2001, and now produces and edits digital content for the Seven Days website, including videos, blogs, email newsletters and multimedia features. She also moderates reader-submitted comments, and helps develop new web-based initiatives. From 2004 until March, 2008, she wrote about Vermontbloggers and the media on her blog, 802 Online.
Bill Simmon is an award-winning filmmaker and blogger who lives in the south end ofBurlington.  Bill is the production manager at VCAM, a non-profit community media and technology center in Burlington, and he has taught filmmaking, editing and cinematography classes at colleges around the region.    Bill is also a new media evangelist and free speech advocate and his blog, Candleblog, has twice been awarded the Seven Days readers’ choice award for Best Vermont Blog.  Bill is also the host of a weekly radio show and podcast called “Poli Sci-Fi Radio.”  In 2007, Bill’s documentary about political blogger Steve Benen, Digital Pamphleteer, took home the Vermont Film Commission’s James Goldstone Award at the Vermont International Film Festival.
